AMATI RIVA AQUARAMA 1/10 SCALE

L'Aquarama, ritenuto ancora oggi simbolo di esclusività e di Italian Design, è un motoscafo interamente in legno pregiato, prodotto per oltre un trentennio in circa 750 esemplari dai Cantieri Riva siti a Sarnico, sulla sponda occidentale del lago di Iseo, Italia.

Lo scafo dell'Aquarama, lungo circa 8,5 metri, era costruito interamente in legno con fasciame in mogano e acero; esso veniva verniciato e lucidato facendo risaltare la bellezza naturale delle venature.

Tutte le versioni dell'Aquarama erano spinte da due propulsori.

Il modello illustrato riproduce l'Aquarama in scala 1/10 ed è stato realizzato partendo da una base Amati.

The Aquarama, even today symbol of exclusivity and Italian Design, is a motorboat entirely build of precious wood, produced for more than thirty years in about 750 pieces by cantieri Riva, located to Sarnico, on the west shore af Iseo Lake, Italy.

The hull of Aquarama, about 8,5 m long, was entirely built of wood with planking in mahogany and maple; to emphatize the natural beauty of the grain it was coated and polished.

All Aquarama versions were powered by two engines.

The model shown replicates the Aquarama in 1/10 scale and was made starting from a Amati kit.
